The MISS AFRO DIASPORA Finland

The Miss Afro Diaspora Finland is the first beauty pageant for women with African backgrounds. It was founded in December 2019. The beauty pageant is produced by Diaspora Glitz Magazine which is part of Diaspora Reporters ry with ID 2949482-5
During the first edition of the pageant, a large number of young women applied for the competition and our team of professional judges drawn from different fields picked the top10 finalists. The beauty pageant stands for transparency and impartiality in picking the winner who is tasked with embarking on charity work as she becomes the face of Afro Diaspora in Finland.
 
The maiden edition took place on Saturday 21st November 2020 at Opinmäen Kampus in Espoo. The South African Ambassador to Finland and Estonia, Carmen J Smidt,  the Tunisian Ambassador to Finland, Sarra Chaouani Ep Abidi and Sana Kourkmadi, Deputy Head of Mission, the Embassy of Morocco in Finland and Estonia attended the event which also had in attendance Inna Tähtinen, Miss Helsinki winner 2020.
 

Our Mission

Changing the narratives that have beclouded our community by raising future leaders who are instilled with the culture of giving. Embarking on a charity mission is a mission our winner will have to accomplish.
